How it started
From lab to living rooms
In 2020, as Lahore's smog crisis worsened, a team of soil scientists at the University of Lahore asked a simple question: What if every home could purify its own air?
They developed K2 Promix—a scientifically formulated soil optimized for air-purifying plants. Within months, local gardeners reported healthier plants, less watering, and noticeably cleaner indoor air.
By partnering with the Chaoon Foundation, we connected every bag sold to tree-planting initiatives across Pakistan. Today, K2 Promix has helped plant over 10 million trees and empowered 50,000+ households to breathe cleaner air.
